The exciting part of this area is that I can add to it as we develop more of our songs through animation! This is Oscar the Cat.
You can see photos of his real home and read his bio on page 37.
Here’s Oscar’s video, a fun way to introduce the song to your students, who will LOVE to watch this, but will also love to sing this song with the accompaniment track. They can act it out by pretending to be the tree, the cat or the people!

Here’s another character from my new book, Holiday Songs and Winter Adventures! Vinnie the Vole lives with friends and family under the snow in the song “Subnivean”.
This topic is so exciting (there’s several predators!) to learn about, but it is also great for playing Orff and percussion, singing, creating, and of course acting too!

From a simple dance to Orff with recorder, this song just makes you smile! Here’s our animated video to introduce the children to the Turkey Song and give yourself some much needed vocal rest! (It’s short, so repeat it! ha)
