Join us for this special session as we explore songs and instruments from Japan to Mexico, and even our own American Blues! Play percussion instruments from all over the world– shekeres, guiros, cajons, and more. Enjoy performing as a group, and build advanced skills that will strengthen you as a band or orchestral musician. We’ll also introduce you to recorder and help you develop a beautiful tone and skills that will lead straight to flute, saxophone or clarinet. You’ll also use these instruments to write your own music with creative improvisation activities. We’ll highlight your new skills for your friends and family at our spring concert!
