Fiberglass soprano xylophone by Sonor. Solid wood resonator box. 16 bars diatonic (range C2 to A3), with F# and Bb. The fiberglass bars are overtone tuned to the industry standard A=440. Palisono (fiberglass) xylophones have a similar resonance to rosewood xylophones. The advantage of palisono xylophones is that pitch is not affected by changes in temperature or humidity (hygroscopic) so these bars are ideal for humid climates.
